Frequently Asked Questions

How does  LSAA do this virtually?

We will collaborate via Trello (an online project management system). There, we’ll create and stay on top of deadlines and expectations. We’ll also use Google Docs and Sheets where we’ll share and create everything from essays to homeschool documents.

We’ll also have strategy meetings (video calls or phone calls), some with the student and some with the parent(s), that we will set at the beginning of each school year.  Each meeting will focus on a particular topic and set of tasks.

Will LSAA create the homeschool documents for me?

When it comes to the counselor documents, we can be as hands on or as hands off as you’d like. We are happy to create your transcript as long as you give us the information from a report card or other verified information. We won’t write your course descriptions, school profile, or counselor letter, but will certainly help you craft and format ones that reflect your homeschool and homeschooler in a powerful way.
